
Ingredients
For the mango layer:
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1/2 cup orange juice, plus more if needed to blend
- 1/2 scoop Simply Vanilla Protein & Kale
For the strawberry layer:
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup orange juice, plus more if needed to blend
- 1/2 scoop Simply Vanilla Protein & Kale
Directions
- Place all of the Mango Layer ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth. Remove to a glass and set aside.
- Place all of the Strawberry Layer ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.
- Pour smoothie into a new glass, alternating the mango mixture and the strawberry mixture to create layers of flavor!
For a mango strawberry protein smoothie:
- Place all of the ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
Hey mango season, we’ve been waiting for ya! This fruity protein smoothie recipe is bursting with flavor from mango, strawberries and fresh OJ, and you’d never know that we snuck in 20g of plant-based protein and an entire cup of kale.
Now, you might be asking yourself how it’s possible to pack that much goodness into one smoothie without it tasting like, well, a blended salad. If that’s you, we’d like to introduce you to our Protein & Kale powder! We made a special blend with plant-based protein from peas, quinoa and chia seeds, and packed in organic kale, barley grass and wheat grass that was all grown on our family farm.
To get the pops of color, blend the mangoes and strawberries with OJ and our Protein & Kale seperately, and layer them together in your glass. Or keep it simple and toss all the ingredients into your blender, and enjoy!
